The conference took place in two locations that are located right next to each other:
Umweltforum Auferstehungskirche/Environmental Forum in the Church of Resurrection
The Umweltforum Auferstehungskirche lies in the close vicinity of Berlin Alexanderplatz. This church venue is over a hundred years old. The building has a total floor space of over 1200m² with a seating capacity of 400 in cinema seating. The centerpiece of this building is the main hall: 450m² in size with awe-inspiring 17m high ceilings, beautiful galleries and an organ loft – perfect for congresses, seminars, receptions, exhibitions or trade fairs. Equipped with eco technology and the possibility of making events carbon neutral the Umweltforum is highly suitable for Green Meetings.
The New Malthouse – central event location in Berlin
This is where you’ll experience Berlin’s industrial history! The Conference Centre New Malthouse isn’t far from Berlin Alexanderplatz. A venue with event spaces on the ground floor and the fifth floor of a former brewery, the latter of which boasts a view of the Television Tower. The New Malthouse features a combination of historical brick architecture and state-of-the-art equipment. On a total of 800m² are seven event spaces including three halls, three seminar rooms and the Elysium. Highlights of this listed historical building are the two domed halls.
